Title: Brand Designer

Brand Designer, Communication (social media / marketing communication) & Brand Representative

Reports to: Senior Management

  • 6+ years of experience in brand design / similar position with an excellent understanding of layout, typography, colour, photography usage, and other design principles.
  • A real team player with the ability to work with others and keep a level of transparency throughout the process.
  • Well-spoken / groomed
  • Must be able to work without supervision
  • A solid portfolio with diverse projects.

This position combines marketing and graphic design to create the visual materials that represent Lanzerac.  Brand Designers will analyse market trends and formulate strategies to reach consumers.  The Brand Designer will design and produce the projects and materials that satisfy the needs of the business. These materials can include design layout, logos, fonts, colour palettes and much more.  The Brand Designers work closely with marketing and senior managers to designate targeted audiences and create consistency across all marketing platforms.


Marketing, Public Relations & Communications

  • Developing and executing brand plans to ensure growth of the brand incorporation with Marketing
  • Translating brand strategies into an integrated communications strategy for Lanzerac incorporating ATL, BTL and TTL: marketing channels incorporation with Marketing
  • Implementing communication plans to increase brand awareness and recognition for the organisation
  • Collating and analysing current communication strategies to ensure consistency
  • Ensure that all products and collateral align with the overall brand CI and guidelines
  • Internal and external communications to all relevant stakeholders - suppliers, partners, clients etc.
  • Product packaging and design development, and strategy roll out incorporation with Marketing
  • Oversee the creating and printing of all marketing materials including banners, brochures, price lists, print advertisements, carry bags, menus and all other related products incorporation with Marketing
  • Maintaining the photography database and liaising with photographers with regards to new photography incorporation with Marketing
  • Developing relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline
  • Monitoring press stories relating to the company and its brand and maximizing opportunities for positive PR
  • Writing/proof-reading press releases, website and mailer copy
  • Creating & updating wine tasting notes, price lists together with senior managers

Digital and Social Media Management

  • Maintain and develop Lanzerac’s online presence focusing on Social Media, online listing subscriptions and the Lanzerac website
  • Develop a well-integrated digital brand strategy that aligns with the overall brand objective
  • Development of a positive brand perception and online presence for Lanzerac
  • Measuring and analysing the brand’s online presence
  • Integrating the digital and social media strategy into the overall estate communication plan
  • Design, execute and implement all social media advertising campaigns incorporation with Marketing
  • Keeping up to date with the latest advances in social media
  • Social media monitoring and engagement
  • Update and maintain Lanzerac’s website in terms of copy, imagery, designs, tasting notes, etc incorporation with Marketing.
