Key responsibilities

  • Assist in achieving all planned L&D objectives
  • Coordinate initiatives to maintain a L&D culture in the industry
  • Administer effective L&D governance and quality assurance
  • Act as point of contact for L&D queries
  • Facilitate interventions to optimize skills transfer
  • Source appropriate training providers and programmes
  • Office and L&D administrative support
  • Administer the SAWIPB and LMS software systems
  • Provide technical support
  • Administer funding applications
  • Coordinate L&D events such as training or information sessions and workshops
  • Financial administration


Requirements - Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • 3 year HR, L&D or Industrial Psychology Qualification
  • At least 2 years experience and/or exposure in a L&D Environment 
  • Knowledge of L&D best practices and interventions
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office programs. GSuite and Cloud Based Software are advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of the Skills Development Act and -initiatives
  • Business acumen and project management skills
  • Accuracy with attention to detail and sound problem-solving skills
  • Planning, organising and controlling skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Sound interpersonal relations and high level of integrity 
  • Able to function independently and as part of a team
  • Innovative in application of new systems
  • A positive, energetic, results driven and professional individual
