Tasting Room Manager - Constantia Wine Farm

Eagles’ Nest is seeking a motivated and competent Tasting Room Manager to run the Tasting Room & Front of House.

Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar position would be a required. Need to be proficient in English and willing to work weekends & public holidays.


Job Description:

The Tasting Room Manager will lead and direct the Tasting Room Ambassadors on the Tasting Room floor. The Tasting Room Manager will run the floor, sales team, be the front face of Eagles’ Nest for the public and will have administration tasks to uphold.

Interested and passionate about wine and food and/or management. Organised, approachable and motivated. Ability to relate and communicate with people of all ages and backgrounds. Accuracy and attention to detail. Capacity to take initiative yet has the ability work well within a team. Ability to work well under pressure. Display patience and empathy toward staff members and patrons.


Job Requirements:

Job requirements involve frequent client and staff interaction and communication. The basic competencies required to carry out the responsibilities of a hospitality manager include excellent communication, leadership, relationship building and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the best practices and procedures for customer service, hospitality management, restaurant operations and motivating workers are particularly useful. Will oversee the Tasting Room on behalf of the Brand Manager. Must have knowledge of food & wine stock take & pricing. Hospitality degree / diploma would be favourable to your application.
