Pierneef à La Motte Restaurant in the Franschhoek Valley requires a vibrant person, with anabundance of energy and enthusiasm, to express his/her creativity as Sous-chef.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * assist the Head Chef to oversee and co-ordinate day-to-day running of the kitchen * planning of functions * menu- planning * orders and stock control * staff management * training of staff * delegating responsibilities to staff members

Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following: * a degree or diploma in culinary arts * at least five years’ experience in a similar position * strong leadership skills * diligence and excellent people skills * excellent language fluency (Afrikaans and English) * willingness to work during scheduled weekends and public holidays.
