Our client located at the foot of the Simonsberg in the Stellenbosch region currently has an opportunity for a Assistant Production & Logistics Manager to join their team. 


  • Administration and coordination of bottled wine
  • Processing of local and international orders
  • Preparation of bottling machine and other bottling equipment
  • Technical bottling and labelling skills
  • Scheduling of bottling and supervision
  • Scheduling of labelling and supervision
  • Cleaning after bottling and labelling
  • Product purchases
  • General administrative tasks and liaison with relevant role players
  • Reporting and reporting 


  • ± 3 years’ experience of bottling and labelling
  • Suitable tertiary qualification
  • Knowledge of Customs & Excise, SAWIS and Department of Agriculture's systems and regulations
  • Proven knowledge and experience in the wine industry
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, communication, interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Accurate numerical and accounting skills
  • Task, detail and system oriented
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Be prepared to work overtime
  • Someone who can lead a team
  • Own transport
