Our prestigious client in the Property Management industry is in need of a highly organized, driven, admin orientated and professional individual with good financial knowledge (i.e. Debtors/Creditors/Bookkeeping, etc.) to take up the role of a Portfolio Manager (admin driven role) at their office situated in Somerset West.

The function of this admin driven role is to support Trustees, Sectional Title Schemes and Home Owners Associations by ensuring the professional management of their property.  The Portfolio Manager is charged with the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures and programs that will assure a well-managed, well maintained building, placing maximum emphasis on positive response to the concerns and needs of the tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, in coordination and conjunction with the Owner’s goals and objectives.

Summary of duties and responsibilities include:

  • Financial Management
  • Administrative services
  • Meeting services
  • Insurance services
  • Project management
  • Organizing of maintenance and repair services
  • Legal and Conflict Resolution assistance
  • Client service and communication

Ideal candidates will have the following skills:

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills and be well presented
  • A professional and diplomatic approach
  • The ability to multi-task, excellent time management skills and patience
  • Detail orientated, neat and punctual
  • The ability to work well under pressure

Minimum requirements:

  • 5 - 10 Years staff and office management experience
  • Strong Admin/PA knowledge and experience
  • Property/facilities/project management (advantage)
  • Computer literacy (Intermediate level): MS Office and Outlook and financial software
  • Experience in meeting procedures and administration
  • Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Presentable and assertive
  • Located in or nearby the Helderberg (Cape Town) area

Salary on offer: Approximately R20 000pm (Negotiable depending on experience)
