our client, a boutique entrepreneurial and highly passionate winemaker, is looking for an assistant who will not only fulfill the duties of this role but add value to this growing business in all its facets.

the goal of the appointment is to take over the operations behind the scenes and be the miracle. the position will ideally suit an individual who has the capacity to anticipate the challenges before they occur, love sorting out the mess when it does happen and assist in putting the kettle on whilst the dust settles. sounds like just another day in the life of a wine brand.

the position has immense scope for growth, but the starting point requires experience of wine industry documentation and a full understanding of the process that gets wine into a bottle and through to the shelf.  you will understand the operational process involved in getting the product ready ie. packaging, deadlines, lead times, liaising with service providers etc. in addition, you will have experience of getting wines ready for shipping, both local and international.

you will have an excellent command of business english, know how to multitask, manage relationships across all stakeholders and happy to man the office on your own. a driver’s license is a requirement. your demeanour will be that of a meticulous planner, a positive can-do attitude and mostly an individual that finds reward in using your skills to help others.
