Leading Franschhoek Wine Estate Seeks Experienced Wedding/Events Coordinator

You must have a tertiary qualification in events management, at least 3 years experience acting as wedding/events coordinator.
Ideal candidate will be well presented, able to work with minimal supervision, have strong communication skills, be solution driven and able to react quickly to a dynamic situation.  Must have strong social media awareness.
Key elements of the job are to actively source weddings and event opportunities to be held on the estate, present the estate and its wedding/event offerings including accommodation, f&b and event space, negotiate and close weddings/events, liaise with wedding parties/event coordinators/third party suppliers and estate staff ahead of, during and after the wedding/event, ensure all accounts are fully paid and conduct post-event reviews.
Given the nature of the job and the fact that weddings/events often take place at weekends and extend until late night it is expected that the successful candidate will have own reliable transport and have a flexible approach to working times.
