Our client, a premier wine estate with two restaurants situated in Stellenbosch, has a position available for an energetic HR Generalist with excellent interpersonal & organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and a focus on effective personnel management.

The incumbent will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for (but not be limited to): *Recruitment & Selection *Induction *Contracts *Payroll *Workmen’s compensation *Personnel records & administration *Training coordination & reporting *Skills reporting *Industrial relations (including discipline management & union liaison) *Grievance and disciplinary procedures *Health & Safety *Employment Equity *Supporting of BBBEE & ethical audits *Wages and salary administration *All other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related field;
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Labour legislation knowledge with application in the Agricultural & Hospitality industries;
• Excellent computer proficiency (VIP Payroll & Microsoft Office, specifically Excel);
• Own reliable transport.
