Top Upmarket Restaurant require the services of an Experienced Restaurant Manager

We are a top, upmarket and well-known restaurant in Franschhoek and are looking for a suitable candidate to join our Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the General Management of the Restaurant and Front of House Staff including:

- Manage Reservations
- Ensure Best Customer Service
- Present on the floor during Service hours
- Responsible for training the staff - waiters must be knowledgeable about the food they are serving
- Staff must be Customer focused
- Ensure that enough staff is available in the service area
- Effectively coordinate activities between the back and front of house to deliver Superior Quality Customer Service
- Be visible and develop a rapport with the Customers
- Communicate effectively
-Handling Customer reviews effectively
-Encourage and support team work
- Lead by Example

The candidate will also be responsible for Stock Control and Business Management:

-Restaurant and Bar stock should be accurately controlled
-Reconcile daily cash ups
-Management of Vendors, Inventory and Equipment
-Assist with the marketing of the restaurant to ensure the restaurant is filled to maximum capacity

It is the Restaurant Manager's duty to serve as the primary point of contact for the Customers for any service issue.

The suitable candidate should have a passion for his/her work and be committed to growing the restaurant even further.
