Key Account and Sales Team Manager

Western Cape Wines is looking for a strong candidate to represent up to 5 farms including brands like Niel Joubert Wines and Backsberg Wine Estate. 

Key roles will include:

  • Managing key accounts and giving feedback to suppliers (5 farms)
  • Scheduling monthly meetings for 5 farms and separate monthly meetings to Western Cape Wines for feedback. 
  • Understanding and meeting the mandate of both the suppliers and the shareholders of Western Cape Wines
  • Managing and growing the sales team, training them, pushing/motivating them to achieve their targets , directing them to fish where the fish are. Weekly staff meetings
  • Overseeing management of merchandising companies 
  • Overseeing management of regionals for supermarkets
  • Overseeing general management of Western Cape Wines – commission of reps and monthly budget in conjunction with owners 
  • Bring new suppliers on board
  • Managing the team’s call cycle reports
