HR Generalist

Our client, a well-known wine cellar based in the Riebeek Valley (Swartland district), has a position available for a driven HR Generalist with excellent interpersonal & analytical skills. The successful candidate will need to have the ability to be the custodian of the HR function, with a key focus on maintaining a well nurtured and cohesive team.

The incumbent will report to the Financial Manager and will be responsible for (but not be limited to): *Recruitment & Selection *Induction *Contracts *Payroll *Workmen’s compensation *Personnel records & administration *Training coordination & reporting *Skills reporting *Industrial relations(Disciplinaries, warnings and disputes) *Grievance and disciplinary procedures *Health & Safety *Employment Equity *Supporting of BBBEE & ethical audits *Wages and salary administration * supporting of BBBEE & ethical audits *All other tasks related to the position.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• Degree/Diploma in Human Resources or related field;
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position;
• Fully bilingual (Afrikaans & English);
• Labour legislation knowledge with application in the Agricultural industry;
• Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, specifically Excel);
• Own reliable transport.
