Temp Logistics Manager – 6 Months Maternity Cover

A dynamic wine farm situated in Wellington, invites an experienced Logistics Manager with a structured and organized approach to their work to oversee the entire Logistics function over a period of six (6) months for a maternity cover temp contract.

Overall purpose of the role is:-

• Receipt and administration of orders to finality.
• Control of all logistics administration including SAWIS Documentation and Export Documentation.
• Co-ordination of all production activities ensuring sufficient supply of raw materials and consumables.
• Ensuring that all production procedures are executed within prescribed specifications.
• Co-ordination of all logistics activities of own and services warehouses.
• Stock management and reconciliation, load planning and dispatching of orders.
• Acting as a logistics liaison between the company and its local and international clients.

Requirements:-

• Diploma / Degree: Logistics Diploma and/or Supply Chain
• Business administration Course
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Must have a proven track record in the Wine Industry
• Excellent computer skills – Specifically advanced level of EXCEL will be a huge advantage
• Must be fluent in both English and Afrikaans – Verbal and Written competency
