Purpose: Verifying final packed product on the production lines to ensure conformance to specifications. Reporting of results of verification activities. Aid in problem solving ensuring continuous improvement whilst being creative and innovative. Perform all administrative duties with diligence in the Quality Control Department.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 & tertiary qualification in Food Technology or Quality Management system
  • 2 years’ experience in Quality Control in the FMCG

Job Summary:

  • Execute daily final packed product verification according to product specifications and as per bottling plan
  • Perform all quality measurements (DO; CO2; TPO; Bubble sizes) ensuring conformance to specifications
  • Perform on-site Co-packer quality monitoring
  • Communicate deviations from specifications to relevant parties and or register Non-conformances where required and assist with isolation/block of non-conforming products
  • Effective problem solving on production lines
  • Daily verification for the effectiveness of laboratory equipment prior to commencing of work activities
  • Maintain calibration register for all equipment and schedule it accordingly
  • Maintain colour standard system
  • Perform all administrative duties e.g. revision of procedures, compilation of reports etc.
