We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Chef de Partie in Stellenbosch with experience in working in a sophisticated, focused and high pressure environment
Minimum Requirements: Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• A diploma in professional cookery
• Excellent cooking and culinary skills
• A creative approach to food
• Past experience of working in a professional kitchen or similar position
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to cope under stressful conditions
• Strong leadership skills
• Attention to detail
Key Duties:
• Following strict hygiene and food preparation cycles
• Maintain standards for food storage, rotation, quantity and appearance
• Ensure that required standards are adhered to at all times in the preparation of food – quality, quantity and safety
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to specification and served at the correct quality, portion size and temperature
Remuneration: R7 000 – R9 000 Gross
