The successful candidate will be responsible for the following functions and roles and will report to the Production and Logistics Manager.

Overall Role and Duties:

  • Managing of bottling and production employees
  • Managing of bottling and etiquette line
  • Co-ordination of all production activities
  • Ensuring that Production procedures are executed
  • Stock management and controlling of stock
  • Managing of the entire bottling process
  • Managing losses
  • Production co-ordination
  • Packaging and dispatching
  • Administration duties and responsibilities
  • Export
  • Quality control within the work environment – Keeping within quality standards


  • Tertiary qualification - diploma/degree in logistics will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 3 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Strong computer skills
  • Knowledge – SAWIS as well as the Department of Agriculture systems and regulations
  • Health and Safety
  • Technical background - Bottling and packaging equipment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge and exposure within the Wine Industry
  • Be prepared to work longer hours when required to do so
  • Own transport
