Job Description: Permanent Waiter

Purpose: The purpose of this position is to serve customers in the restaurant and to ensure that they receive an exceptional experience at Ernie Els Wines.

Reporting line: Position reports to the Hospitality Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Hosting lunches/wine tastings, providing excellent wait service
  • Making menu recommendations, answering questions and sharing additional information
  • Staying attentive to guests needs during luncheon experience
  • Ensuring luncheon food expectations are met
  • General waitron duties and tasks
  • Attending to operational opening / closing duties

Qualifications and experience:

2–3 year waitering experience

Wine Service Courses an advantage (Cape Wine Academy)
