Receptionist / General administrative assistant

Job Description

  • Manning the switchboard & reception desk
  • General administrative record keeping, filing & archiving
  • Uploading of supplier invoices on Pastel Evolution  
  • Checking job cards for completeness & accuracy of costings
  • Checking delivery notes for correctness
  • Assisting the workshop with the preparation of quotations
  • Assisting with logistics & costings associated with goods importation


  • General administrative experience of at least 2 years
  • Working knowledge of Pastel Evolution (or similar software)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Reception/switchboard experience is not required, but will assist with the application.


  • Matric (with accountancy) or a similar NQF 4 accountancy qualification
  • Further administrative and/or financial qualifications are not required, but will assist with the application.


Prior experience in a similar business environment (importer/reseller of goods and provider of technical workshop services to the food & beverage processing industry) is not requirement, but will assist with your application.
