Our client in Paarl is looking for a HR Officer to start immediately.

Requirements:

At least 2-4 years’ experience in an HR Generalist role
Minimum Qualifications: N6

Key Responsibilities:
HR Administration

  • Attend to all HR administration issues
  • Ensure the filing system are being kept updated on a regular basis
  • Compile employment contracts
  • Forward employment contracts to Admin Manager for payroll
  • Act as Information Officer


Payroll administration

  • Calculate wages
  • Complete UI19 AND UI2.7 forms


General

  • Update the notice board with basic regulations and policies
  • Supervise staff attendance and update management daily with absenteeism
  • Assist with leave applications
  • Compile monthly time schedules for all staff and put on notice board
  • Assist with staff queries and discuss with manager
  • Liaise with the department of labour regularly


Report writing

  • Generate the WSP reports
  • Generate the Employment Equity Report
  • Submit IOD reports online - Compeasy
  • Submit yearly ROE reports


Training

  • Schedule internal and external training
  • Place training dates on notice board for all staff
  • File training registers
  • Communicate with facilitators regarding retail training
  • Update warning report


Industrial Relations

  • Represent company at CCMA
  • Issue warnings
  • Schedule disciplinary hearings
  • Chair disciplinary hearings


Salary R10 000 - R12 000
