Key Accountability Areas:

Business process optimisation:

• Investigating and analyzing production methods and processes to identify improvements to drive efficiency, reduce cost and eliminate waste

• Actively seeking out best practices to share and implement at the sites

• Codify best practice into manuals and SOP’s

• Develop world class operational excellence practices based on lean manufacturing principles

• Analyse production information to identify and prioritise improvement projects

Software team interaction:

• Scope projects aligned with CI agenda

• Communicate requirements to Company Software user support manager

• User acceptance testing feedback to Company Software

• Stakeholder communication

Training and implementation:

• Oversee the development of training material for business practices

• Co-ordinate training effort (SOP’s and Software implementation)

• Change management communication during implementation of new initiatives

Business intelligence and reporting:

• Clearly communicate user requirements for BI and reporting needs to facilitate decision making at the right levels

• Implement measurement systems & monitor the usage thereof

• Guide and support Company Software to implement and manage systems to capture data efficiently and sustainably to achieve BI objectives


• Relevant degree in Industrial Engineering
