Award winning Flagstone Wines in Somerset West is seeking to employ 2 x 18 month Winery Interns on a Learnership programme starting with the 2022 harvest season. This is a great opportunity to be part of a premium winemaking process, and learn from a top wine producer. If you are energetic, well-spoken, and passionate we would like to hear from you!

The suitable candidate must:

o   Have a passion for wine.

o   Have some experience, or knowledge, relating to winemaking and/or cellar practices.

o   Be able to think on their feet.

o   Be willing to work longer hours as well as on weekends.

o   Be able to do physical hard work.

o   Be able to use initiative.

o   Be eager to learn.

 Responsibilities include:

o   Take responsibility on harvest duties.

o   Help with all harvest activities


 This is an ideal position for students that have finished their studies in winemaking or anyone looking to enter the wine industry who want to gain practical experience and knowledge.

 Successful candidates can expect:

The successful candidates will be required to complete a registered Learnership with a recognized college/education facility (eg. Wine Training SA) for the 18-month duration of the contract, as well as;
