Waterford Wine Estate, outside Stellenbosch have several positions available for hospitality staff at their tasting room and restaurant.
This is a temporary position during the peak season (November to March), with an option to become a permanent position.

The Duties consists of the following:

  • Greeting and seating guests
  • Conduct in-depth wine tastings
  • Offering the best cellar door experience possible
  • Daily set up and closing duties
  • Direct and online wine sales
  • Restaurant food service
  • Guided tours and other farm experiences

 Requirements

  • Valid driver license and own transport is imperative
  • Matric and post school qualification
  • At least 1 years’ experience in the hospitality industry (restaurant, wine farm or coffee shop)
  • Must be presentable and be an ambassador to the farm and brand image
  • Self-motivated and a team player
  • Be available to work on public holidays, weekdays, and weekends
  • Some evening function work would be required
  • Be fluent in English additional languages will be advantageous
  • Computer literate
  • Attention to detail
  • An outgoing people's person

Remuneration

  • Market related hourly wage
