Junior Restaurant Manager - Stellenbosch

We are in search of an Junior Restaurant Manager, with excellent guest relations skills and a passion for the hospitality industry to join our front of house team. You will be supporting two other managers, delivering consistently high-quality service to our members and guests.

It is a pre-requisite is that the candidate has his/her own vehicle and resides in the Helderberg or Winelands areas.

The candidate must have a good knowledge of front of house service, systems and guest relations. The candidate must have an eye for detail and have basic computer skills.

The ability to work shifts, weekends and vacations is essential.

To qualify for an interview, we require the following:

Recent photograph

Diploma or equivalent experience

Excellent staff management skills

A good understanding of food service

A minimum of 2-3yrs Experience in a similar position

A good team player and show leadership skills

Excellent communication skills

Focussed, creative and passionate about the hospitality industry

Good understanding of stock control

Ability to handle pressure

Attention to detail

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage day to day operations so they are consistently delivered to the highest standards of compliance, efficiency, and quality.

Constant Training and development of all staff

Health, safety, and hygiene

Constant improving and optimising of current service flow and standard of service, working with the rest of the F&B Team to implement systems


Remuneration: in line with experience
