Rupert and Rothschild Vignerons, an iconic brand in the global wine industry, based in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley is currently seeking to recruit a Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head Chef.

Key areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to

  • Assist in organising and coordinating kitchen operations
  • Assist in supervising of kitchen staff
  • Stock control and management
  • Ensure supplies and equipment are at adequate levels
  • Implement dynamic operational working procedures, to support the delivery of service excellence
  • Ensure general health and safety are adhered to

Knowledge and Experience

  • Post matric qualification
  • 3-5 years related working experience
  • Experience in a fine dining establishment
