Hotel Manager, 4-Star Boutique Hotel - Kimberley

Pick Me Recruitment is looking for a Hotel Manager to manage and run the overall 4-Star Hotel Operations of a luxurious Boutique Hotel. The property, situated in Kimberley, offers 21 en-suite bedrooms tastefully decorated with the ambience of a bygone era. The hotel boasts a member's bar, lounge and dominoes room, an a la carte restaurant, a ladies bar, 3 dining facilities, a reading room and a billiard room. The ideal venue for functions, weddings and conferences.
This is not a live-in position.

Minimum Requirements & Key Responsibilities:

• Diploma in Hotel Management or related tertiary qualification will be advantageous
• Continue to set up service procedures that will ensure guest satisfaction and surpass guest expectations
• Recruiting, training and supervising staff
• Experience in hotel operations included Rooms, F&B, Admin, Sales & Marketing
• Maintaining statistical and financial records and managing budgets and forecasts
• Long hours will sometimes be required and be available 24/7, weekends and holidays
• Planning maintenance work, events and room bookings
• Handling customer complaints and queries
• Promoting and marketing the business
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and licensing laws

Key Skills Required:

• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and administration skills
• Must be fully bilingual
• A strong and empathetic leader who can communicate effectively with guests, associates and owners
• The position requires a hands-on approach to hotel operations
• Strong financial acumen
• Creative and passionate about the hotel and tourism industry
• Ability to lead and manage a team of people effectively
• Strong management skills, day-to-day, and long-term
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Resourceful, creative and forward thinking
• Adaptable to change
• Computer literate

Remuneration: R2
0 000 CTC (plus incentive packages which will be discussed during the interview process)
