Job Profile

The Human Resource Administrator is the first point of contact within the designated business unit for all HR related transactional and administrative activities such as documenting operational processes and maintaining employee records. The HR Administrator shall operate within the group strategy promoting and upholding the companies’ business goals, objectives, and values.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor's degree/diploma and or equivalent qualification in human resources, business management, or a related field

• At least 5 years’ HR experience as an administrator or similar role

Key Accountability Areas - Human Resources (HR) Administrator

(A) Transactional HR

• Maintain the complete employee life cycle – onboarding to exit

• Administration of employment contracts, recruitment and interview processes

• Employee Orientation and Training

• Administrate and/or Lead: Workers Committees, EE Committees, Health and Safety Committees

• Administrative reporting

(B) Compliance and Governance

• Covid-19 divisional reporting

• Ensure that the Company complies with labour legislation and coordinate compliance audits

• Preparing, reporting and submitting Employment Equity Plans

• Updating and maintaining centralized employment data - STACS / COIDA

• Managing and submitting Agriseta and Compeasy claims

• Preparing and submitting Workplace Skills Plans in collaboration with each General Manager

• Overseeing and coordinating statutory committees – workplace forums and EE

(C) Management Support

• Employee Induction

• Maintaining and advising on company policies and procedures

• Advising, planning and arranging disciplinary hearings

• Overseeing training and development

• Conducting skills audits, gap analysis and providing training interventions

• Co-ordinating employee wellness and related events
