Our client, based in the Stellenbosch winelands is currently looking for a restaurant floor manager.

This position is seeking a hospitality passionate individual that will be physically present on the restaurant floor and in the kitchen to monitor the quality of the service and the food. You will be happy to engage with customers to ensure return business and take and resolve any complaints.

Other duties will include (not limited to):

  • Perform restaurant opening and closing activities
  • Organise management of repair and maintenance issues
  • Continuous staff training
  • Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Manage all fire, safety and health regulations regarding food preparation and serving

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in similar position
  • Own transport
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Service orientated
  • Able to work hospitality hours
  • Works well with numbers
