Position: Financial Manager at a well-established market leader in the wine industry

A well-established market leader in the wine industry is in need of an enthusiastic, well-spoken person with a high level of tenacity, attention to detail, analytical skills and self-confidence.

Responsibilities includes, but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee the finance team
  • Managing bi-annual financial audits
  • Compilation and revision of budgets
  • Calculation of income and provisional tax
  • Managing financial portion of annual BBBEE audit
  • Maintaining fixed asset register
  • Costing of grapes, bulk wine and foreign inventory
  • Incoming forex and all payments
  • Review and payment of salaries
  • Compilation and reviewing of monthly reporting

The successful candidate should be able to work independently and adhere to monthly reporting and other deadlines.

Requirements

  • Registered with a professional accounting body (SAICA, CIMA or SAIPA)
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics will be beneficial
  • Current unendorsed driver’s license and own transport
