Job purpose: The Human Resource Administrator is the first point of contact within the designated business unit for all HR related transactional and administrative activities such as documenting operational processes and maintaining employee records. The HR Administrator shall operate within the group strategy promoting and upholding the companies’ business goals, objectives and values.                                                                       

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS

  • Determine yearly HR strategy in collaboration with Manco. Maintain, facilitate and coordinate the implementation of the personnel policy and processes.
  • Interpretation of the personnel policy to relevant managers and/or employees when necessary. Having personnel policies readily available to management and/or staff.
  • Maintain the complete employee life cycle - onboarding to exit. Administration of employment contracts, recruitment and interview process. Employee records. Employee Orientation and Training.
  • Advising, planning and arranging disciplinary hearings.
  • Wage (including Ecotime-time & attendence system) and benefits administration. Overtime determination. Employee statistics - leave, absenteeism, incentive scheme, Appsource. Rkg sheet daily.                     
  • Labour legislation and Compliance (Siza). Occupational Health and Safety (First Aid, PPE, COIDA, medicals)
  • Reporting on Employment Equity Plans and submissions & Workplace Skills Plans (Agriseta)
  • Maintenance of Statutory committees, Workers Committees, Health & Safety, EE (DoL).
  • Training and Development. Covid and all statutory related documents and submissions.
  • Skills audits, gap analysis and training interventions                        

 REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (Human Resources or Industrial Psychology)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar environment
  • At least 3 years’ experience with VIP Premier
  • Experience with Time and attendence
