Accounts Assistant

The Accounts Assistant position involves supplying administrative support to the accountants department by performing clerical tasks such as filing, handling mail, making phone calls, replying to emails and basic bookkeeping. 

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Monitoring daily communications and answering any client queries. 
  • Debt Collecting  
  • Working with excel spreadsheets for billing 
  • Processing Sawis 6’s, Sawis 5 and DA260 
  • Invoice processing and filing. 
  • Managing truck schedule  
  • Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers. 
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation 
  • Implement take on process and requirements for New Clients and Clients exiting.  
  • Implement take on process and requirements for New Staff. 
  • Basic HR responsibilities 
  • Screen CV’s and conduct Interviews, for short listing as per requirements 
  • Upselling of ALL products 

Essential skills: 

  • Be able to work independently, under pressure and with a high level of responsibility 
  • Have excellent time management skills as this is required in the management and delivery of daily tasks within the expected timelines 
  • Experience in management, operations, and leadership. 
  • Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management. 
  • Able to understand computer apps, and develop data entry on them, for smooth running of processes within the organisation
