Assistant Farm Manager

Our client, Mullineux, part of Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines, is an award winning winery based at their organic vineyard near the village of Riebeek Kasteel in the Swartland region, is seeking a driven individual with strong interpersonal skills paired with the drive for top quality wine grape farming whilst maintaining sustainable farming practices.

The ideal candidate can work independently, is self-motivated, can perform under pressure and will need to show initiative and leadership qualities, that will enhance and help grow the farming activities.

Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture/Viticulture and Oenology;
• Minimum 5 years’ practical experience in a similar role in the agricultural industry;
• Willingness to work hard and must have a passion for top quality farming activities;
• Practical experience with coordinating basic farm maintenance is recommended, together with experience with organic/sustainable farming practices;
• Code 10 driver’s license and valid PDP.
