uniWines Vineyards, located in the beautiful Breedekloof wine region, has a position available for a dynamic and energetic Winemaker to join their team. The ability to function well in a team and work well in a fast-paced environment is essential to the role.
This position will be based at uniWines Groot Eiland and will focus on the production of red wine.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Facility and will be responsible for *the entire winemaking process *blending and stabilisation of wine *ensuring cellar hygiene is compliant with food safety, quality control and H&S systems *inventory management and cellar administration *cellar staff management *liaison with suppliers *marketing *all other duties related to the position.
Essential qualifications, skills and experience:
• A relevant qualification in Viticulture and Oenology;
• Minimum five years experience in a similar position;
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, WineMS);
• Valid driver's license.
