Koelenhof Wine Cellar, situated in the Stellenbosch wine region, has the abovementioned career opportunity available for an individual with proven experience in the wine industry, bottling and production management.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Distribution Centre Manager and will be fully responsible for the management of our BRC-accredited bottling plant.

Duties will include: *production planning *effective management of production processes *quality control of production processes and final products *purchase of consumables *1st line technical maintenance of machines and equipment *stock management *implementing and maintaining quality- and safety standards (BRC) *loss control *all other tasks related to the position.

Minimum requirements:

  • Senior Certificate (Matric);
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience of the bottling processes in the wine industry;
  • Technical knowledge of maintaining bottling equipment;
  • Good computer skills (MS Outlook & MS Excel);
  • Excellent communicating skills (Afrikaans & English);
  • Ability to operate under pressure;
  • A valid driver's license and own transport.
  • Willingness to work overtime as per operational requirements.

Advantageous:
• Knowledge of operating a filler and labelling machine and experience with the BRC food safety system.
