Opportunity for a South African citizen with relevant experience in the wine industry to relocate to Canada (Kelowna).
 
Our client offers a collection of some of the most exceptional Estate vineyards and prestige wineries in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley. Each winery operates fully independently, with its own hallmark and identity. The common purpose is to produce extremely limited quantities of luxury wines that are hard to find and can stand alongside the best in the world.
The VP Sales is the strategic sales leader for an iconic collection of Okanagan wineries, responsible for driving business development in both domestic and international markets for the portfolio of brands. The VP Sales will develop and implement an export market strategy to build premium brands internationally in key markets such as the U.S., Europe and Asia. This position will also develop and maximize distributor performance, coordinating the development and execution of marketing strategies between the individual wineries and distributor partners, including our Canadian domestic partner.

SKILLS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE
7-10 years' experience in marketing and sales, at least 5 years at the leadership level.
University Degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent. MBA desirable.
Wine or beverage alcohol industry experience required.
Proven experience managing distributor partners and establishing international distribution agreements required.
Established relationships with key Canadian beverage alcohol customers is an asset.
