Front of House Manager Stellenbosch

Established wine estate restaurant in Stellenbosch is seeking to employ a full time Front of House Manager to assist the Restaurant Manager with all duties and responsibilities associated to the professional management of the restaurant. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: shifting staff, daily cash-ups, management and training of waiters, managing the pass as required, hosting events, management of reservations and function enquiries, monthly stock take, management of floor during service, dealing with customer complaints, assistance with online marketing partners and correspondence and management of supplier relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a previous Front of House Restaurant experience, be proficient in English (both written and spoken), be presentable, have sound staff and client management skills, a passion for the restaurant industry, wine knowledge, experience with POS systems and live within close proximity to Stellenbosch with reliable transport.
