An exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual is available at the Robertson Wine Valley office. Working in collaboration with all its members to grow the valley as a leading wine and tourism destination.

Responsbilities: Reporting directly to the Wine Route Manager • Oversee and plan all events and promotions • Take accurate briefs and conceptualise • Manage and take responsibility of all events • Ensure events are coordinated within budget • Good negotiation skills • Maintain and cultivate relationships with suppliers • Generate monthly reports • Managing Finances • Invoicing and Payments on Pastel • Tax Returns • Financial Reports • Technical Projects • Training Projects • Office Admin and Maintenance

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and experience: Relevant tertiary qualification • Proven track record working within events • Excellent project management skills • Excellent attention to detail • Excellent communicator • Fully computer literate

An events manager is also a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques.
