 PLEASE NOTE:  ONLY SA CITIZENS WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS VACANCY

 APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

 Completed Bookkeeping qualification / Accounting Diploma

  • Minimum 2 years debtors experience gained within finance department
  • Willingness to work overtime when required, especially at month end
  • Excellent understanding of the importance of internal controls & systems
  • Good understanding of various accounting packages
  • Advance Excel skills
  • Detail orientated with high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to function under pressure

KPA’S

  • Managing full debtors function
  • Collation of documents from customers
  • Looks after every detail and record of the payments that are due from debtors
  • Process daily deposits and allocate accurately to customer account per profit center.
  • Follow up on invoices that has been invoiced but not yet received
  • Send statements to customers and resolve any disputes.
  • Reconcile accounts timeously when needed.
  • Weekly credit meeting with Traders to advise them on any customer related issues.
  • Ensure that authorization of invoices and payments gets done in time and follow up on regular basis
  • Maintain records and client files, which involves filing
  • Correspond with customers and respond to queries
  • Analyze accounts and prepare reports
  • Submit monthly reports and help in month end closing
  • Any ad-hoc duties that may arise from time-to-time
  • Monitor of cash flow on daily basis and liaise with banks
  • Implement any changes in reporting requirements and develop systems to adhere to reporting requirements
