A well-known restaurant and guesthouse outside of Robertson is offering an opportunity to manage the restaurant on a lease agreement basis.

The successful candidate must be a talented chef with a business mind that can run their own restaurant with own team, based on a lease towards the farm.

Requirements

Breakfast & Dinner for guests staying at the farm 7 days a week (from October to April)

Dinner for external guests

Lunch optional

From May to September the guesthouse is closed on Sunday till Tuesday

The person must be responsible for managing all F&B operations and delivering an excellent guest experience, supporting the standard of excellence of the guesthouse.

  • 3 - 5 years’ Chef and/or Managerial experience in a restaurant environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – comfortable in dealing with distinguished clientele
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Professional demeanor, portraying warmth, helpfulness & care for every guest that visits the restaurant
  • Self-starter
