An exciting opportunity exist for a driven professional with a sound business acumen to perform the role of General Manager tasked to manage all functions of this breakthrough initiative in the wine industry. We require an accomplished leader with a proven track record in managing a medium size business with the ability to stay operationally focused on all aspects of the business while operating in a highly-collaborative industry.

 Responsibilities

  • Implementation and achievement business strategy and business plans.
  • Growth in market share and new market opportunities.
  • Improve business effectiveness and resources management and deployment.
  • Successfully engage internal and external business networks.
  • Achievement of performance goals in order to gain shareholders trust and respect.
  • Drive monthly and quarterly business processes.
  • Develop business investment and coordinate financial support.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities and make meaningful recommendations to shareholders.
  • Provide timely reporting and analysis that relates to budget and business plan reviews.
  • Seek improvements in key business processes, especially those that require cross-group participation.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years general management and viticulture oenology experience with a relevant BCom / BSc Degree: Agriculture and/or  Viticulture Diploma and must be fully  computer literate and au fait with general MS Office.
