Commercial Manager

Cape Town  

Important multinational company in the sector of nutrition and plant health is looking for a technical-commercial person for the development of its product portfolio in South Africa and neighboring countries. 

The position could be covered as employee or as external sales agent. 

Main tasks and responsibilities:

In coordination with the Sales, Marketing and R&D departments of the company, the candidate will be in charge of :

- preparing sales plans for the countries and the achievement of 
  those plans.
- definition of the products to be developed by zone and country
- preparation of the product registration
- definition of the distribution structure by zone / country
- definition of product price and profitability structure
- training and support to their distributors
- direct management of big farms (key customers) 
- Coordination and preparation of trials and product tests.
- preparation of the necessary technical brochures and 

The person will be based in South Africa and will report to the Export Manager of the company.

Professional skills and background :

- Agronomist
- More than 3 years of experience with fertilisers and pesticides in commercial field 
- Availability to travel in South Africa and neighboring countries 
- Afrikaans and English native speaker
- high capacity to work autonomously 
- well organized and used to report 
- target oriented
