Sales Representative - Gauteng

Minimum requirements:

  • Grade 12/Tertiary degree/diploma would be an advantage;
  • Extensive knowledge of wines (preferably completed relevant wine courses);
  • Highly motivated and responsible with the ability to work with minimum supervision;
  • Strong team player
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Strong organisational and presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Display initiative and a strong willingness to learn;
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc);
  • Code 08 unendorsed driver`s license;
  • Own transport and willingness to travel within the region.


  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts by planning and organising daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets
  • Responsible for arranging wine festivals and wine dinners, must be willing to work in the evenings and over weekends.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results.
  • Reporting:
  • Daily sales and approach report
  • Weekly overview call with sales team
  • JHB event calendar monthly & consolidation post event
  • Monthly promotional stock usage/analysis of sales report.
  • Quarterly overview for team in terms of group goal setting.
  • Market related salary will be offered
  • The successful candidate will report directly to the National Sales Coördinator.
