A well-known Stellenbosch Bakery, requires an experienced, hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our team as Chef de Partie.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, fluent in English with a good command of Afrikaans, well-spoken, passionate about food & wine, be a creative and passionate individual, with a strong work ethic and above all a team player.

 Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: 

  • Menu execution in-line with the standards already set by Head chef
  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Sound knowledge of best cooking practices
  • Tertiary Culinary Qualification a prerequisite
  • Enforcing and maintaining strict health and hygiene standards 

*Bread baking and pastry skills will be in candidate’s favour.* 


We are seeking a pro-active, creative and friendly individual who is a strong team player with a can-do attitude that has relevant experience in managing stations in a busy kitchen.

This is a daytime restaurant with fantastic working hours in a fun and upbeat environment. A sought after position as we are not open evenings with a breakfast and lunch offerings only! Two days off every week in winter and season. General working hours will be from 07:30 – 17:00.  

The right candidate must have own transport, good communication skills, have contactable references, sober habits and must experience in a similar position.
