Well known Stellenbosch Bakery, require runners for season.

Please note this is a seasonal contract: 1 November 2018 – 30 April 2019

You will be required to work shifts
Operating hours of the Bakery: Monday - Sundays: 07h30 – 17h00
And all public holidays.

Previous runner/restaurant experience a requirement for application.

Duties and responsibilities include but is not limited to:

• Assist in setting up restaurant according to table plan and table settings
• Stocking of service areas throughout the shift with glassware and beverages
• Ensures all food is according to the order docket’s requirements to running it out to a guest
• Delivers food to tables and ensures guests have all they need
• Informs managers of any ticket times exceeding standards
• Offers assistance to guests by clearing away dishes and glassware
• Communicating requests/orders from guests to waiters
• Assists other team members as needed or when business needs dictate
• Washing and polishing of glassware
• Assist in clearing dirty crockery, cutlery and glassware from side stations to kitchen
• Setting up and clearing of picnics
• Have the physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours
