Head Chef - Negotiable


A world renowned award winning Estate in the food and wine capital, Franschhoek, is seeking an innovative, talented and creative head chef to take the helm of a young and energetic kitchen brigade on a full time basis.

The successful candidate must be an experienced candidate able to work under pressure, meticulous planning skills and attention to detail, must be accurate, , guest focused but also be a team player.

The candidate needs to be a professional with a passion for the upmarket hospitality sector with ambition to step up, achieve and deliver World Class Standards.

Skills required:

A creative, vibrant and knowledgeable Head Chef with previous 5* experience. (Qualification in Hospitality management will be of an advantage)

Passionate about food – fresh and fine dining

Willing and able to work shifts

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Management and development of business

Systems and budgetary control, stock control and orders

Knowledge of HR processes and procedures

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A motivator and role model with high standards and the ability to work quickly, as well as cope well under pressure, manage and lead a team.
