Wine Sales Administrator



Our client is a well-known player in the wine industry located at the lower slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain. They are seeking to appoint a Wine Sales Administrator to join their team.


  • Compile weekly and monthly reports based on customer liaison and sales
  • All sales related administration
  • Regular updating of planning system
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with local clients in specific regions/markets
  • Conducting market/price analysis and research
  • Assist with annual sales and marketing budgets
  • Relationship management and market development in specified regions/markets
  • Attending wine tastings, client functions and promotions
  • Management and execution of sales and marketing for specified regions/markets
  • Regular trade visits in specified regions/markets
  • Monitor stock levels and allocations
  • Liaising with reps and customers
  • Export reports 


  • Grade 12 plus 3 years’ relevant tertiary qualification (Sales/Marketing/Commercial)
  • Wine knowledge is a prerequisite
  • Experience of local wine markets/retail
  • Excellent client liaison and negotiation skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Office) and Pastel
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Energetic
  • Must be self-motivated and innovative
  • Strong communication, relationship and networking skills
  • Ability/willingness to travel
  • You will be required to work on some public holidays and Saturdays
