Knowledge of wine, a degree/diploma/certificate in Wine obtained at a recognised Wine Academy is preferable. A minimum of 3 years sales in FMCG. Computer literacy including Word and Excel, above-average written and verbal communicative skills and the ability to work independently will secure this position.
The successful applicant will be sales driven and be responsible for:
Maintenance of existing customers in on and off trade
Obtaining new customers through leads and cold calls
As a brand ambassador and living the company values, presentability is a must.
Be in tune with industry trends and literature
Responsible for reaching monthly sales targets
Weekly and monthly reports to be handed in on time
Reliable transport is essential
Able to work weekends and after hours

salary depends on skill-set and experience
Mix of retainer and commission, plus monthly targets.
