Bookkeeper/Project Administrator



 Our client is a business-to-business organization that acts as a facilitator of intellectual property, people, systems and horticultural expertise and technology that enables the development, cultivation and marketing of new premium quality citrus varieties. They require the services of a confident, well-spoken and self-driven individual to join their team as the first point of contact for the organization.

 Main duties 

  • Project administrator
    • Custodian of the Project Management Software programme
    • All updates and communication log on project management programme
    • Management of technical data generated in the company
    • Reporting 
  • Bookkeeping
    • Debtors & Creditors
    • Cashbook & Banking
    • Trial balance
    • Income Statement & Balance sheet 
  • Secretarial & General admin
    • Correspondence & filling
    • Switchboard & reception  

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Matric with a relevant bookkeeping qualification
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in bookkeeping up to trial balance
  • Previous involvement in Project administration for a minimum of three years would be advantageous
  • Experience with Pastel bookkeeping software
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Assertive with an excellent telephone manner
  • Spanish speaking or willingness to learn the language
