Financial Administrator - Artisan Chocolatier


The Financial Administrator will manage financial-related tasks and adhere to financial and general administration duties. Also, manage core information processing and provide support to the Financial Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities : 

  • Cash Book capturing and reconciling with ABSA
  • Administrator of Online Bank System
  • Checking of invoices for over/under recoveries before capturing
  • Follow up with queries on invoices with Operational Controllers regularly
  • Follow up with queries and invoices /credits / refunds with Creditors regularly (International suppliers)
  • Import Business account data to pastel
  • Ensure invoices are authorized in accordance with the levels of authority and allocate to correct supplier/creditors and general ledger accounts daily
  • Approve invoices before sending them off for payments to be made
  • Check summary of Cash Sales and Credit Sales to correspond with bank statements
  • Order float via online banking system
  • PAYE and Union payments
  • Check and manage Woolworths Portal: Invoices for orders, weekly payments,
  • Other administrative and related tasks


  • Assist colleagues as and when required.
  • Assist auditors with all their requests pertaining to specified entities.


Qualifications and Experience

  • Grade 12 and relevant tertiary education (Bookkeeping would be advantageous)
  • Proven work experience as a Finance Administrator, Finance Assistant or similar role
