Rotisserie Chef


Leopard's Leap Wines in the Franschhoek Valley requires the services of a vibrant Rotisserie chef, bursting with creative ideas and eager to express his/her creativity in the Leopard's Leap restaurant - working with produce from the on-premises garden and celebrating the Farm-to-Table theme.  The successful candidate will be expected to integrate and work closely colleagues, raising working standards and pushing creative boundaries. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: * preparing salads and side dishes for the Harvest Table, assisted by kitchen personnel and with input from the Head Chef * working closely together with the chef in planning food quantities for functions and large lunches * kitchen inventory and stock management * staff management

Applications are awaited from persons who comply with the following:  *a degree or diploma in culinary arts * 2 years’ experience in a similar position * able to work in a fast-paced environment* willingness to work on scheduled weekends and public holidays.
