Reporting to : Quality Control Manager

Department: Packaging

Purpose: To monitor and measure quality on the lines ensuring conformance to specification. Reporting of results of monitoring activities. Aid in problem solving ensuring continuous improvement whilst being creative and innovative. Perform all administrative duties with diligence in the Packaging Department.

Minimum Requirement

Tertiary qualification in Food Technology or Quality Management system

Experience in Quality Control in the FMCG will be advantages

Skills Required

Good basic knowledge and understanding of quality control processes and standards

Excellent administrative and numeric skills

Strong planning, organizing and controlling abilities

 Problem solving skills

 Communication abilities

 Identification of improvement opportunities

 Computer literacy

 Time management skills

Job Summary

Daily verification for the effectiveness of laboratory equipment prior to commencing of work activities

 Effective problem solving on lines

 Perform all administrative duties

 Perform all quality measurements as per production acceptance plan

Ensure pre-requisite program is maintained
